Christi L. Bailey, MPAS, PA-C
Christi Bailey graduated cum laude from Baylor University before going on to earn a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. While at UT Southwestern, Christi became particularly interested in dermatology and went on to complete a one-year postgraduate dermatology fellowship, training alongside dermatology residents. She is one of just 12 physician assistants nationally to complete the program. "The fellowship training allowed me to work closely with the residents in a variety of settings," said Christi, "including clinics at the VA, Parkland and UT Southwestern. It was an excellent opportunity to treat patients with many different dermatologic conditions."
Christi is currently a preceptor for UT Southwestern PA students and is a fellow member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
Christi and her husband, also a physician assistant, grew up in the Richardson area. The high school sweethearts are the proud parents of a young son and are actively involved at The Heights Baptist Church, where they lead a Sunday school small group.
As a certified physician assistant, Christi is able to diagnose and treat skin conditions ranging from general dermatology concerns, such as acne or rosacea, to skin cancer. She is also qualified to prescribe medication and perform a variety of procedures at the Dermatology and Skin Cancer Surgery Center.
Christi will see patients in the McKinney office.
